About us - Cape Cod Farm
Gopal Farm Cape Cod is a 223-acre Ag-conserved farm focused on regenerative practices, the ethical treatment of animals, and supporting the local community with fresh produce. Located 8 minutes off rte 6 in Forestdale ( Sandwich), Massachusetts, we are the largest piece of arable farmland on Cape Cod.We specialize in Indian Heirloom cultivation, We also grow 100+ varieties of specialty gourmet and American standards that everyone loves.
Now in year 3 of production, we are expanding to50 acres of cultivation (up from 25 acres season prior).While we are not certified yet, we adhere to organic practices (no chemicals, pesticides, or gmo seed).
Our Farm Stand is self-serve (CASH ONLY) and is open 7 days/week 9am-5pm (Mid-June through the first week of November). We also host pick-your-own, hay-rides and other events throughout the season!
This year we are excited to start our first local CSA. Lots of fresh veggies every week for the whole family to enjoy!
Meet our Team
Farm Manager : Shane Chambers
Shane comes from all the way from Missouri. The little town in Missouri is where Shane grew up his entire life and it continued into his college career. Shane studied Agriculture Business Management at The University of Central Missouri. His 4 years there he ran his own lawn care company as well as working on a conventional farm. Even though Shane has more background in conventional farming he has extensive knowledge of how to run a farm and a business. Shane understands the importance of tackling problems head on as he looks to lead this farm. Shane is an avid traveler who also loves being outdoors!
