CSA Delivery & Pickup

IMPORTANT (Please read carefully):

• Our weekly delivery schedule is from Sundays to Wednesdays. We may not be able to accommodate your desire to customize the delivery schedules to your home as we deliver in pre-scheduled routes. But this schedule is fluid and we may need to change this but we will take your feedback and will keep you informed. 
• The box will generally be delivered any time from 7:00am - 9:00pm and will be left outside on your porch, apartment lobby, or apartment office (or you can add specific instructions for our Delivery drivers ). Our drivers cannot take the box up a flight of stairs or inside a building other than to the lobby. The drivers are on a tight schedule, and they have to deliver boxes to other members on the same day so everyone can receive their boxes - fresh. So kindly do not request them to deliver the boxes to different locations. 
• We strongly advise that you keep a Cool Box in the location where you would like our driver to deliver the box - on the porch, garage, lobby, or office. So that your produce may remain fresh (especially in the summer heat) if you are not home, remain free from contamination, and be sanitary and safe while awaiting your pickup. Please move the contents to your refrigerator as soon as you can. You may buy these cool boxes at Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Please prominently label your Cool Box with your Subscription Name, address, and contact number, especially in apartment buildings, so that there is no confusion with other members in the same building. And please do not forget to keep ice bag(s) in it for the day of delivery. 
• The Farm Box is packed to handle the ride on the way. Our endeavor is to ship your produce securely as soon as we harvest it so you can receive them fresh. Please ensure that someone is at home to receive the box or have the delivery driver drop your box in the designated Cool Box that is properly labeled and has ice. We will not be held responsible for vegetables not remaining fresh or wilting, or contaminated after the box is delivered to your designated location. The Driver will take photos of the box - of the outside and inside of contents while and after placing it in the designated location / Cool Box. These photos will be available to you and to us so that there is no misunderstanding. 
• Within 12 hrs of delivery of box please contact us if you see any item damaged with photos. All feedback is welcome so that we could keep fixing our processes.
• You may Track your delivery ( Live Tracking ) by using the notification links that are sent to your Mobile Phone as well as Email to help you make arrangements for quick pickup.
• There is a flat delivery fee of $15,which is to be paid during the season's deliveries when they start. We will bill weekly/monthly your credit card on file using Stripe. This fee is not included in the prepaid CSA subscription.
  
• You may reduce the delivery fee to $5 weekly, and you can pick it up at a pre-designated pooled location. If we deliver to your home near the route, it would be $15. When it is farther away, the delivery fee may be $20.
  
• We will inform you of these delivery charges before your weekly deliveries start. We may need to increase the delivery fees if any macro dependencies alter like fuel expenses, toll, minimum wages etc. 
• We do appreciate if you include Tips for our farm workers, packers and delivery drivers. They work hard and their's is a hard job while we safely and conveniently receive our weekly produce at home. 100% of the tips go to them.
• Combined Delivery to Temples/Community Centers: To save shipping costs, many temples and community centers act as delivery points. We can come and deliver minimum 10 boxes at each location with a reduced flat rate for each Box. If you are interested to organize this, please contact us.
